Sebastian Zapata

In 2021, I launched TSI with a clear vision: To offer players of all levels quality coaching and help them become the best player they can be, emphasizing professional and research based trainings methods. I’ve been a tennis trainer since 2010, certified by the Canadian national tennis association, and I’m passionate about sharing the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to help others improve and deepen their understanding of the game.
I started playing tennis at a young age and have had the opportunity to compete in national and international tournaments across Europe, Asia, Africa, North, and South America. During this time, I also had the chance to practice with several top ATP and WTA players, and to learn from skilled players and coaches like Guillermo Canas (formerly ranked #8 ATP), Canadian coach Rob Steckley, and my current mentor, Tennis Biomechanics expert, Rudi Visser.
After working and competing in different countries, I noticed that many common misconceptions about tennis were sometimes mistakenly taught to club players. I’ve faced these challenges myself, and through a lot of trial, error, and guidance from expert coaches, I’ve learned (and keep learning) what really works and what doesn’t — all grounded in research-based methods, because there’s plenty of misleading information out there. Now with the help of a talented team, each bringing their own unique experiences, I’m excited to bring this approach to local clubs.
Anthoula Panayiotou

We welcome Anthoula (Anthia) to the TSI Team as of Summer of 2024! Here are a few words from Anthia:
I am a tennis player and coach from Cyprus. I was a full-time tennis player, participating in international tournaments such as the ITF, Futures Pro Circuit, and the Fed Cup. I proudly represented the University of Cyprus tennis team for five years, where we achieved three wins at the Cyprus Championships and three at the Greek Championship. For the past six years, I have been dedicated to coaching, guiding top young talents in Cyprus, including the No. 1 boys under 9, 10, and 12, as well as the No. 2 girl under 12. My passion for tennis drives me to share my extensive experience and foster a love for the sport in others, striving to coach with the same enthusiasm and dedication that defined my own career.
Coco Bosman

I started coaching about four years ago and quickly became passionate about it, inspired by my own tennis career, which I’m still actively pursuing. Currently, I’m ranked in the top 20 in the Netherlands, and I plan to start competing in international tournaments this coming summer, aiming to go as far as I can. I also played college tennis in the US for two years on a scholarship, which allowed me to study for my bachelor’s degree while continuing to chase my tennis dreams.
My own career has given me a lot of knowledge and insight, which I love sharing with others. This is one of my strengths as a coach—I can bring my experiences as a player directly into my coaching. I encourage players to work hard on the court, but it’s also very important to me that we balance it with fun! I just finished my first season coaching at TSI in 2023, and I loved everyone’s positivity and work ethic. I can’t wait to see more improvement and enjoyment in the upcoming seasons!
Update: Coco is currently competing in the Professional circuit and has a WTA ranking of 1402 (as of Nov. 11th, 2024). Therefore she will only be joining us during her time off or in between competitions!
Nathan de Veer

My name is Nathan de Veer, I’m from Badhoevedorp, suburbs of Amsterdam. I’ve been playing tennis 25 years so far. I was a top ranked junior, played D1 college tennis in Chicago, and Futures on the tour
For the past 8 years, I’ve been coaching tennis players internationally (incl entrepreneurs) to achieve peak-performance and get into a flow state through neuroscience to help them enjoy & win more
Besides that, I’ve been teaching tennis as well for 10+ years. Tennis and personal development are my two biggest passions and love helping others both improve and enjoy themselves.
Pablo Rojas Bahamonde

My name is Pablo Rojas-Bahamonde. I am from Puente Alto, Santiago, Chile. I started playing tennis at a very young age, as both my father and my brother are tennis coaches. Between the ages of 12 and 18, I competed in Chile and across South America, achieving a Top 5 national ranking in each of the junior categories in my country.
In Chile, I accumulated more than 10 years of experience giving tennis lessons, while here in the Netherlands I have been teaching systematically for over a year.
With the aim of continuing to learn and gaining a deeper understanding of the tennis culture in this country, during the first semester of 2025 I completed, in Arnhem, the course to obtain the ‘A’ License of the Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association (Koninklijke Nederlandse Lawn Tennis Bond). This qualification corresponds to Level I certification of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
Regarding my coaching style, I place special emphasis on developing a solid technical foundation through exercises based on real match situations, so that players can apply what they learn directly in competition. I maintain a high physical intensity throughout every training session, aiming to ensure that players enjoy the process, improve their tennis, and push their limits on court.
